It is impossible to get an appointment at this surgery. I am on medication that is supposed to be reviewed by a gp every six months, I have tried every week for the last year and a half to get to see a doctor without any success. Went into the surgery today, and asked for an appointment, as I have a painful ear, and have lost some hearing over the last few months. Was given a leaflet about putting olive oil in my ear for a fortnight by the receptionist? I know all surgeries are under great pressure, having been a doctor's receptionist in the past, I know that they have been instructed by the gp, or practice manager on who they can give appointments to, but seriously what do you have to do to get one. No wonder so many people turn up at a and e as they have no other option.

Always manage to get an appointment in a reasonable time. My doctor always remembers me and my Ailments. He always has a quick chat with me to make sure I'm ok. The receptionists are all.pleasant and helpful. The nurses are also a pleasure to see. After my last surgery this is a real treat. Although with all the houses being built round here it won't be like this much longer, a real shame!
