Terrible and dishonest - Go to Horndean MOT instead. Took my Clio in to change a rear spring as they're meters from my front door. I then spent all day receiving phone calls from them where they had 'spotted' additional work that "needed" doing, such as rear tyre x2 (which I declined), rear pads which I accepted and was charged excessively for. I drew the line when they claimed the anti role link bushes needed changing as they'd been done 9 months earlier. Price for rear spring change alone was almost double the price Horndean MOT charged to change the other side.
I had an exhaust light come on to the dash of my Corsa, three weeks after buying it. I took it in, they spent an hour and a half looking at it before phoning me and quoting me 416 for a Air Flow Sensor, inc. parts and labour. I told them I would look around first, and took it to MOT Service World in Horndean (opposite the fire station), and they said if the problem was that, it would cost 218, parts and labour. They had a look, and discovered there was a bit of dirt blocking the sensor. They took it out, cleaned it and put it back in. Charged me 50 labour plus VAT, so 60 in total. If I could rate Hilltop 0 stars, I would. Disgraceful. Will never go back.
